Infant costumes are measured by the child’s age in months. For your toddler, determine if she is a size one or two. Older children and teens are sized according to small, medium, and large but measure them up just to be sure.

Don’t forget the shoe size of each member of the family. The elf-shoes are an important part of the costume. Nobody would like to wear rubber shoes when they are supposed to be elves. It would spoil the entire look.

Be creative. Elves like people have different looks. Some have bushy brows, beards and pot bellies. Add Santa spectacles and there you are – a Santa elf!
